Stacy Scott Key Memorial Scholarship Fund Established
5/12/2004 12:00:00 AM | General
A scholarship fund has been established for former University of Alabama Crimsonette Stacy Scott Key who was killed in an automobile accident this week. Stacy, a Crimsonette from 1988 to 1991, was a native of Hamilton, Alabama. She was the wife of former Alabama football player Chad Key, who lettered as a quarterback and wide receiver for the Tide from 1993-95. The couple has two young daughters.
In memory of Stacy, a scholarship fund has been set up in her name to provide scholarship opportunities for University of Alabama students. The scholarship will be awarded to a UA student who exhibits academic excellence and service to the University of Alabama community, with preference given to candidates who are members of the Crimsonettes or the Million Dollar Band.
Contributions to the Stacy Scott Key Scholarship Fund may be made to the Office of University Advancement at the below address. Checks should be made to The University of Alabama and reference the Stacy Scott Key Scholarship.
