
Women's Basketball Concludes Year With Awards Banquet

TUSCALOOSA – The University of Alabama women’s basketball team celebrated their successes and remembered their challenges on Thursday night at the team’s annual postseason awards banquet at the Country Club of Tuscaloosa.
The yearly event sponsored by Alabama’s women’s basketball booster club, the Fastbreakers, included dinner, a season recap by head coach Rick Moody and a season highlight and senior tribute video.
In addition, the Crimson Tide also handed out their annual team awards voted on by the players. Junior Monique Bivins was presented her All-SEC (2nd team) award and redshirt freshman Kate Mastin was also given her SEC All-Freshman team award. Other winners on Thursday night included:
