Tide Diver Aaron Ashworth Earns All-American Honors

Alabama junior Aaron Ashworth earned honorable mention All-American honors off the three-meter diving board at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships being held this weekend at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, N.Y.
Ashworth took 14th place off the three-meter scoring 517.55 points. The Columbia, Co. native will compete off the platform on Saturday, the championships last day. In swimming action, senior Ben Worby took 29th in the 400-meter IM. The Redlands, Calif. posted a time of 4:24.96 in his last race for the Crimson Tide.
Sophomore Darren Erasmus returns to action Saturday, swimming in the 100m freestyle.
