TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Due to upcoming construction on the north endzone of Bryant-Denny Stadium, parking in the Communication Card Lot located behind Reese Phifer Hall will not be accessible from December 23, 2004 through Feb. 28, 2005.
To compensate for lost parking, the area surrounding the southwest pedestrian ramp (across from Rama Jamas') will be allocated for decal parking.
During this period of time, approximately 55 reserved parking spaces will be located in the paved and gravel lot between the Delta Kappa Epsilon and Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity Houses on the west side of Stadium Drive. After February 28, 2005, approximately 50 reserved parking spaces will also be accessible in the Communication Card Lot. After construction has been completed in the Fall of 2006, the Communication Card Lot will lose approximately seven faculty/staff reserved spaces.
In the area north of the stadium, the Pine Street Lot will lose approximately 87 commuter spaces, and the 8th Street and South Stadium Drive area will lose approximately 52 resident, commuter and faculty/staff spaces.
In the late spring of 2006, the Communication Card Lot will again be closed for a short period of time.
