D'Agord Stays Hot, Advances at Southern Cal Intercollegiates

Alabama’s Luigi D’Agord continued to stay hot Thursday at the Southern California Intercollegiate Championships as he advanced to the second round.
D’Agord defeated BYU’s Jonathan Sanchez 7-6(5), 5-7, 7-6(4) to advance to the tournament’s Round of 16. D’Agord is now 14-3 on the season.
Next up for D’Agord is Scott Doerner of Pepperdine. Doerner is the No. 3 seed in the draw and is ranked 125th in the ITA rankings. They will play Friday at 10:00 a.m. PST.
