Mary Beth Moore is in third year at UA but only her second season of play with the Alabama Volleyball team. A redshirt sophomore from Double Springs, Ala., Mary Beth is one of just two Alabama natives on the Tide roster. Mary Beth plays the defensive specialist role for the Crimson Tide and also saw action at the libero position last season. A life-long Alabama fan, Mary Beth comes from a long line of Tide faithful with her parents, brothers and sister-in-law all earning degrees from the Capstone.
Mary Beth and her teammates are closing in on the end of their regular season schedule and play a pair of important home SEC contests against Ole Miss (Friday) and Mississippi State (Sunday) this weekend.
