Brigitte Slack is in her first season of play with the Alabama Volleyball team. A true freshman from Ft. Wayne, Ind., Brigitte has been the Tide’s starting setter all season. One of the key reasons behind Alabama’s offensive success this year, Brigitte became just the third UA freshman to record over 1,000 assists in a single season. She currently ranks third in the SEC for assists per game and is a candidate for the Freshman All-SEC squad.
Brigitte and her teammates open postseason play this weekend at the SEC Tournament in Gainesville, Fla. The Tide takes on Georgia at 5 p.m. (ET) on Friday.
