Tide Assistant Coach Pearson Now A Father of Three

TUSCALOOSA – Philip Pearson, a former University of Alabama player and current assistant men's basketball coach on Mark Gottfried's staff, went from father of two to father of three on Wednesday, October 13, when his wife Ashley gave birth to a baby girl. The Montgomery native and his wife, the former Ashley Trawick of Bay Minette, named the baby Catherine. She was born at 10:13 a.m. at a local hospital in Tuscaloosa. The baby weighed six pounds and was 19 inches. She joins older sister Mary Collins, age four, and older brother Will, age two, in the Pearson household.
