
Baseball Recruiting Class Ranked Sixth by Baseball America/ Prospects Plus

TUSCALOOSA -- The University of Alabama’s 2005 baseball recruiting class has been ranked as the best in the Southeastern Conference and sixth nationally in a survey recently released by Baseball America and Prospects Plus.
Alabama inked 13 high school and junior college players in the Nov. 12-19, 2003 early signing period. The Crimson Tide also landed three of the nation’s Top 100 high school prospects according to the Prospects Plus rating service.
The Top 12 recruiting classes according to Prospects Plus is as follows: (1) Texas; (2) Miami, Fla.; (3) North Carolina; (4) Georgia Tech; (5) Clemson; (6) ALABAMA; (7) Florida; (8) UNLV; (9) TCU; (10) Santa Clara; (11) Tulane and (12) Virginia.
