Alabama Baseball Team to Hold Two Intersquad Games

The Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team will hold its first intrasquad games of the 2004 preseason this weekend at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.  Alabama will scrimmage at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23 and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24.  Both intrasquad games are free and open to the public.
 
Alabama will open the 2004 season on Friday, Feb. 13 against the New Orleans Privateers at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.  The season opener begins at 6:30 p.m.
 
Season tickets are also on sale through the Athletic Ticket Office (205.348.2262) for the upcoming season.  All chairback seats are sold out, but tickets do remain in the reserved bleacher area of the Joe.  Tickets are for individual packages and family plans for the 2004 season.
