The Alabama Men and Women's Swimming and Diving teams both fell to the University of Georgia tonight at Don Gambril Olympic Pool in Tuscaloosa.
The Tide women lost 179-106 while the men were outscored 174-112.
Coach Eric McIlquham praised his team's effort against the Bulldogs and looked forward to his upcoming meet again Georgia Tech.
"We knew it was a rough road coming in," McIlquham said. "Georgia is very good. They work hard and are very deep and strong. The team set individual goal times for ourselves because we wanted to swim as best we could. We will match up extremely well to Georgia Tech. Every event will be down to the wire. "
