SEC Announces 2003-2004 Men's Basketball TV Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. - Southeastern Conference Commissioner Mike Slive announced today the 2003-2004 Men's Basketball schedule for the upcoming season. The SEC's television schedule includes 101 games with 33 slated for national telecast. Among those include 12 games on CBS, 20 games on ESPN/ESPN2 and one game on ABC. In addition, 40 games will be shown on Jefferson-Pilot Sports and 28 games on SEC-TV, the league's regional package. Programming on SEC-TV includes FOX Sports Net South, FOX Sports Net Southwest and the Sunshine Network. Several games will also be broadcast through local networks affiliated with the member institutions.
The 2004 SEC Men's Basketball Tournament will once again enjoy live television coverage. All eight first and second round games and both semifinal games will all be featured on Jefferson-Pilot Sports. The championship game will once again be televised on CBS at 1 p.m. (ET).
