WHEW!! Another day down and 6 more to go. What a day we all had today. This morning we got after it on defense. To end practice we pounded it out in one of my favorite 6-on-6 competition drills, courtesy of Chris, called the ACTIVATOR!! After practice we had a big surprise for us in front of our lockers...we got our new volleyball shoes. Now let me just tell ya, they are so tight!!! Half of the shoe is crimson and the other half is metallic silver. And when we play, they look kickin'.
This afternoon we worked on passing and our offense. We put it all together. We practiced our team serve receive and we looked pretty good. We are still a little rough around the edges but that will all change by the first game.
After that we did some team bonding at O'Charleys, yum.
