Well two days of preseason down... This was my first official day of two-a-days and all I can say is WOW!!! Even though I have been at BAMA for almost a month now I am still adapting to everything!
Our morning session started off with a lot more of ball control and a focus of passing. My favorite part of practice during the morning session was when we concentrated on the middle blocker position. We worked on our arm swings and moving across the net.
Oh yeah before I forget...today was Chris' (Redding) birthday today...HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!!!
We started our evening session a little bit earlier tonight and we did a lot of team stuff. We really had to show our mental strength, focus, and communication through a defensive drill. The tempo of practice changed throughout, because we did competitive drills and then did cooperative drills. Thanks to Heff tonight we got a water break and Potter helped to end practice (great jump serves!!)
After our sessions we had a team bonding time!! We brought food over to eat together and we asked each other a lot of questions to get to know one another better. It was FUN TIMES!!
ROLL TIDE!!
p.s. Remember - Get rid of the Deer in the Headlights look, J!
