Alabama Men's Track Teams Vaults Back Into Top 25

Based on a solid performance this weekend at the 2003 SEC Indoor Championships, the University of Alabama men’s track and field team jumped back into the Trackwire Online Top 25 in the No. 21 spot.
Distance runner Peter Etoot won the 800m SEC Championship while posting a NCAA automatic qualifying time of 1:46.50.
The Tide joins nine of the other 10 schools in the conference that sponsor track in the rankings. Arkansas, South Carolina and Florida occupy the top three spots, while LSU and Auburn check in at No. 5 and 7. Tennessee is at No. 8, Mississippi State is tied for 17th. The Kentucky Wildcats are at No. 21 and the Georgia Bulldogs round out the poll at No. 25.
