Alabama Men's Track Posts Three Regional Qualifying Marks

Only a week removed from its fifth consecutive Alabama Relays title, the University of Alabama men's track and field team continued its success in qualifying for the 2003 NCAA Regional Championship at the Florida Relays.
Last weekend in Tuscaloosa the 4x400m relay team of O'Neil Wright, Latonel Williams, Curtis McBride and Latonel Williams posted an NCAA Regional qualifying time. So far this weekend, the Tide has added three more events to the qualifying list.
Williams placed fifth in the 100m dash with a time of 10.42 which qualified him for the NCAA Regional meet.
Wright posted a time of 51.53 in the 400m hurdles which placed him sixth in the event and qualified him for the NCAA Regional meet.
Also qualifying for Regionals was Isaac Robinson who posted a mark of 24'03.75" in the long jump for a second place finish.
Matt Vogtner also had a good showing for the Tide as he finished third in the pole vault with a mark of 15'10.00".
The Florida Relays will continue on Saturday and will wrap up on Sunday.
