Bama Volleyball Closes Spring Season with Home Tourney

TUSCALOOSA – The University of Alabama volleyball team has enjoyed a great deal of success during their spring season this year and this weekend they are bringing their success show home when they host the Alabama Spring Tournament on Saturday in the CAVE.
The event features a six-team field from around the area including UAB, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Southern Mississippi and Memphis. Tournament matches will consist of three games with the first two played to 30 points and the third game going to 15. All matches will be played on one of two courts in the CAVE, the gym at the back of Coleman Coliseum.
Alabama will play three times in the event beginning at 10:30 a.m. against Memphis. The Tide will also face Ole Miss at Noon and then conclude the event with a match against Southern Mississippi at 3:00 p.m. Admission is free to the event and Bama volleyball fans are encouraged to come out and support the Crimson Tide.
