Garth recorded 62 tackles in 2003, including two sacks. He also added three pass break-ups, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. Garth's 62 stops ranks seventh on the Crimson Tide squad and are the most for a freshman on the team. His tackle total also ranks third in the SEC among freshman.
