Crimson Tide Volleyball Set For a Busy Week

TUSCALOOSA - The University of Alabama volleyball team begins a busy week of action on Wednesday night as they host the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles at 7 p.m. in the CAVE.
For the Crimson Tide, the USM match marks the conclusion of a six-match home stand. Alabama has posted a 5-0 record during the stretch and moved above the .500 mark at 13-11 for the first time this year. Southern Miss brings a 23-5 record into the contest.
Following their final non-SEC match of the year, Alabama jumps back into SEC play with a road trip through the state of Mississippi. UA visits Ole Miss on Friday night (7 p.m.) before making a stop at Mississippi State on Sunday afternoon (2 p.m.)
The Crimson Tide owns a 7-5 mark in SEC play and is currently in second place in the SEC West. Bama is tied with Georgia and Tennessee for third place overall with four league tilts remaining and is in a SEC Tournament seeding battle with the pair.
Alabama will conclude their 2003 SEC regular season slate with a pair of home matches next week. The Tide faces in-state rival Auburn on Wednesday, Nov. 12 and then hosts LSU on Nov. 16.
