TUSCALOOSA - The University of Alabama volleyball team returns home after earning a split in a pair of road contests last week for a match against in-state foe South Alabama at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night in the CAVE.
The match marks the first of a season-long six match homestand for the Crimson Tide. Alabama enters the competition with an 8-11 overall record. South Alabama comes in at 4-15 and has lost nine of its last 10 matches. Bama is also looking to extend its win streak against in-state opponents to 17 matches.
Following this non-conference match, Alabama jumps back into Southeastern Conference play this weekend when the Tide welcomes Mississippi State to town on Friday night (7 p.m.) and Ole Miss on Sunday afternoon (1:30 p.m.).
All three matches will be played in the CAVE and feature free admission.
