Tide Freshman Kennedy Winston Ruled Eligible for Play

TUSCALOOSA - The University of Alabama announced today that Kennedy Winston will be eligible for Wednesday evening's contest against the University of Arkansas. Winston, a freshman on the men's basketball team, had been ruled ineligible by the NCAA for the first 11 regularly scheduled games of the 2002-2003 season based on the receipt of pre-college expenses prior to his enrollment at the University of Alabama.
