TIDE HOPES TO CONTINUE ROAD SUCCESS
The Alabama women's basketball team looks to continue their winning ways when they visit No. 13 Mississippi State on Thursday night in an important SEC tilt. The Tide snapped a three-game road losing skid last Sunday with an 81-70 victory at Ole Miss. The win marked Bama's first in SEC play and improved UA's record to 11-7 on the season. MSU had their three-game win streak halted by No. 4 Tennessee on Sunday.
*Alabama's 81-point outpouring against Ole Miss was the second most points for the Tide in a game this season. The Tide had failed to surpass 62 points in their six previous contests.
*Lady Bulldog's LaToya Thomas (24.6 ppg) and Tan White (17.8 ppg) account for 57% of the MSU offensive production. The Maroon duo has taken over half the team's total shot attempts and is responsible for 1/3 of the squad's rebounding.
*Bama and State have played three common SEC foes so far this season... Ole Miss, Tennessee and Auburn.
