Alabama players ended competition Friday at the SEC Indoor Championships in Atlanta, Ga.
Michael Ray Pallares was defeated by Vanderbilt's No. 1 player Bobby Reynolds while the doubles team of Brad Friedman and William Boyles dropped their doubles match.
"The doubles loss to LSU was definitely disappointing," Alabama head coach Billy Pate said. "We expected to do well there. I really thought we would win that one and still be playing doubles today or tomorrow."
Men's tennis will kick off its dual season next Sunday with a match against Troy State at 9 a.m. and against Southern Miss at 3 p.m.
