TUSCALOOSA – The University of Alabama volleyball program has a new addition, but this time the coaching staff didn’t have to go and recruit to find this newcomer.

At 1:55 a.m. on Wednesday morning, UA assistant coach Michelle Durban and her husband Jason welcomed their first child, Alyson Lynn, into the world. Alyson weighed in at 8 lbs - 1 oz, and was 21 inches long.

Parents and child are all doing well.
