University of Alabama head women’s soccer coach Don Staley has been chosen to be the chair of the 2002 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Ranking Committee.

Staley will be in charge of tabulating votes from all five regions to determine the weekly NSCAA Top 25 women’s soccer poll.

“I’m honored to chair such a prestigious committee and I appreciate the confidence that has been bestowed upon me,” said Staley.

Staley and the Crimson Tide will begin their season on Friday, August 30 when the team travels to New Orleans to take on the Tulane Green Wave.
