Travis Stinnett Gives Up Fifth Year of Eligibility

Travis Stinnett, a guard on the University of Alabama men's basketball team who graduated from the University in May will not play a fifth season at Alabama.
Stinnett received his degree in management and is planning to go to graduate school. A member of Alabama's team since his true freshman season in 1998-99, injuries caused Stinnett to take a medical redshirt his first season and to completely sit out the second. He played in 13 games this past season, averaging 4.5 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
