2006 (Senior): Started each of the first three games of the season before missing the Arkansas game due to a left shoulder injury. Jones returned to play against Florida, making two tackles, and was back in the starting lineup with four tackles against Duke. He tallied a total of 10 starts at outside linebacker. He finished the season with 50 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, two pass breakups, one quarterback hurry and one forced fumble. He had at least one tackle in all 11 games and posted five or more tackles six times. He tallied a career-high nine tackles at LSU. He had five tackles and a forced fumble at Tennessee. He led the team with seven tackles against Louisiana Monroe. Jones made three tackles and recorded a sack for 12 yards in the season opener against Hawai’i. His six tackles against Vanderbilt in the SEC opener were second on the team. He also had six tackles against Mississippi State to go along with one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry. He had five tackles against Auburn. Jones played a total of 530 plays on the year with a season-high 71 at Tennessee. He had eight games with 40 or more snaps and four contests with over 60 plays. Jones was elected captain for three different games. He represented the defense against Mississippi State and the special teams unit against Vanderbilt and Auburn.
2005 (Junior): Terrence recorded 31 tackles on the season, including a career high eight stops against Utah State which included a TFL (-4) and a half sack (-3). He had three multi-tackle games, despite missing three games early on with an injured ankle. Jones played a season-high 46 snaps against Utah State. He finished with 21 tackles, four stops behind the line for eight yards, 1.5 sacks for six yards and three quarterback pressures.
2004 (Sophomore): Terrence provided valuable back-up help to a very talented linebacking corps. He played in every game, seeing action on 317 plays, with a high of 41 against Western Carolina and 40 in the South Carolina game. He had 18 tackles on the season and one stop behind the line for one yard. He had a career-high six tackles against Western Carolina.
2003 (Freshman): Terrence was the only true freshman to play in every game, seeing action on 221 plays. He had a season-high 35 snaps against Arkansas. Terrence closed the season with 11 tackles, including a career-high three against Mississippi State. He had two tackles each against Northern Illinois, Arkansas and Hawaii.
Prep: Terrence led the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats in tackles three consecutive years and amassed over 300 career tackles. His senior season, Terrence contributed 117 tackles, seven sacks and three fumble recoveries. He was an All-West Alabama and All-State selection as a junior and senior. Terrence was County's defensive MVP for three consecutive seasons. As a track star, he placed third in the state 110 meter hurdle competition.
Personal: The son of Ethel Jones, Terrence has an older sister, LaClethra. Born 10-21-83. He is a General Studies major.
