TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Bama Baseball Camp will provide the best possible baseball instruction for players of all ages and abilities in a structured, enthusiastic and fun environment. Campers will receive instruction from Alabama coaches, along with some of the top local junior college and high school coaches.
A limited number of spaces are still available for all three upcoming Bama Baseball Camps.
Each camper will receive specific, quality instruction on how to play the game and how to improve themselves on and off the field. Skill and techniques will be improved through individual and small group instruction.
This year we will offer three different types of camps: An advanced camp for the high potential high school player, the accelerated overnight camp for those players looking to take their game to the next level, and a week long day camp designed to teach the necessary fundamentals and techniques to the younger players.
Campers may choose from the following choices.
CAMP 1 -- BAMA BASEBALL DAY CAMP (June 25-28)
The Bama Baseball Camp will hold a week long day camp that is designed specifically for the younger players. This day camp will allow players to work hard all day and still make their games at night.
The camp will provide intense instruction on hitting, pitching, infield and outfield play, catching, base running, bunting and much more. Campers will also have an opportunity to play in instructional games each day.
The day camp is open to players who are presently in the 1st through 7th grade. The cost is $175 per person. The camp will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. daily. Campers are urged to bring a sack lunch.
CAMP II -- ACCELERATED BAMA BASEBALL OVERNIGHT CAMP (July 8-12)
The Accelerated Bama Baseball Camp is a week long camp designed to help players take their game to the next level.
Instruction will include the proper techniques of hitting, pitching, catching, infield, outfield, base running and team defense. We are committed to providing the best possible instruction to each individual in all phases of the game. Games will also be played and supervised by our coaches who teach and review proper techniques during the games. This is a great opportunity for players to incorporate the techniques they have been taught and to improve their confidence in their abilities.
This week long camp is open to players age 10 and up. The cost is $340 for resident campers and $275 for commuters. The commuter campers will attend from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily and lunch will be provided. A camper must be in at least the seventh (7th) grade to attend the overnight camp.
