Coach Murphy Says: "Chrissy was a major reason we won the SEC title last year as she beat every SEC opponent but one. She has improved her technique greatly this fall and will be one of the hardest throwing pitchers in the country again this spring. All of us are very excited about watching what Chrissy will do this spring."
2006 Fall Highlights:
- Starting pitcher against Wallace-Hanceville and Wallace-Dothan
- Recorded two shutouts in 11 IP with four hits allowed, no walks and 14 K
- Pitched six innings with two hits allowed and seven strikeouts against Wallace-Hanceville
- Allowed two hits and struck out seven in five innings against Wallace-Dothan
2006 (Sophomore):
- 2nd Team NFCA All-South Region
- Bama Bash! Co-MVP

- Pitched in 33 games with 20 starts on the season
- Set school record with 0.68 ERA for the year
- Ranked second in the nation behind Cat Osterman of Texas with a 0.68 ERA, her ERA was never above a 0.75 on the season
- Held opponents to a .184 batting average
- Allowed five or fewer hits in 16 of the 21 games in which she pitched at least five innings
- Threw a complete game, five inning no-hitter in the NCAA Regional contest against Mississippi Valley State (5/19) with 12 K, 10th no-hitter in school history
- Tallied seven shutouts and five combined shutouts
- Only allowed 15 earned runs in 154 innings with 190 strikeouts
- Led the team with 7.3 strikeouts per game (based on 7-inning game)
- Posted six games with 10 or more strikeouts with 12 in three games
- Pitched 27 innings allowing 15 hits and two earned runs with 30 strikeouts in six postseason appearances.
- Recorded saves against Fresno State (3/16), Oklahoma (3/16) and Tennessee (3/26)
2005 (Freshman):

- Recorded first double-digit strikeout game of her career vs. UAB (2/6) with 11 Ks
- Recorded first collegiate win vs. Evansville (2/4) and first collegiate save vs. Houston (2/11)
- Came on in relief vs. Hawaii (3/6) in bottom of seventh with bases loaded and no outs and struck out three straight batters to end the game
- Had a streak where she did not allow an earned run in 33.1 consecutive innings
- Recorded sixth save of the season vs. Ole Miss (4/2), breaking the school record for saves in a season
- Had a streak where allowed one earned run in 33.2 IP
- Finished 16th in the country in ERA
- Led nation in saves with 11
Prep Highlights:
- Prepped at G. Holmes High School in Miami, Fla.
- Broke and presently holds Dade County strikeout records
- Most no-hitters in school history in 2001-2003 and average ERA was 0.16
- Named team MVP 2001-2003
- First Team All-County pitcher 2001-2004
- 2003 Runner-up Miami Herald Female Athlete of the Year

- Her brother Henry Jr. is a pitcher for the Florida Marlins while her uncle was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 1980 and is currently managing in the Los Angeles Dodgers minor league system
