
Football 101 Returns to Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.—The highly-acclaimed gridiron class for women, Football 101, featuring Coach Dennis Franchione and the University of Alabama football staff, will be Sunday, July 28 at the Bryant Conference Center.
The class covers all aspects of football, rules, equipment and other activities and is divided among beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. The Crimson Tide staff provides instruction and interacts with the participants.
The initial session sold out in three days last year, so the class has been expanded with an enrollment limit of 1,000. Cost is $89 including a unique course syllabus, shirt, meal and other materials.
There will be an optional chapel service with testimony from a UA coach at 11:30 a.m., followed by registration at 12:30 p.m. Coach Fran opens the instruction at 1:30 p.m. Following dinner at 6:30 p.m., there will be an autograph and photo opportunity for participants.
