SEC Basketball Champs Will Be Honored Saturday

TUSCALOOSA - The University of Alabama men's basketball team will be in the Mayfield Dairy Autograph Tent on the Quad Saturday at noon as part of the activities going on before the Alabama-Georgia football game. Mark Gottfried and his team which includes 2002 Southeastern Conference Player of the Year Erwin Dudley and 2002 SEC Freshman of the Year Mo Williams as well as a talented group of newcomers that includes the state's "Mr. Basketball" from 2002 Kennedy Winston, will be giving out a new team poster at the tent.
The basketball team will be honored at halftime of the football game as winners of the 2002 SEC championship.
