TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama football team ran through a two-hour practice in helmets and shoulder pads Wednesday afternoon as preparations continue for Saturday's Southeastern Conference road game at Vanderbilt.
"It was a good practice," Alabama head coach Dennis Franchione said. "It's been a good week so far. We have had two good days of practice and gotten a lot of things accomplished.
"We had some real nice weather today. It was good football weather. It was a little humid (Tuesday), but we did not have that to worry about today. We have recovered nicely from the (Tennessee) game, and I pleased with where we are (with our preparation) right now."
Alabama and Vanderbilt will kickoff at 1:07 p.m. (CST) this Saturday from Vanderbilt Stadium. The game is available on a pay-per-view basis. Persons wishing to watch the game should call their local cable provider.
