TUSCALOOSA – The Alabama volleyball team welcomes Georgia State for a Tuesday night tilt at 7 p.m. The match is part of the Crimson Tide’s Halloween Extravaganza festivities at the CAVE.
The Tide, 15-9 overall, looks to rebound following a disappointing loss on the road last Friday night against Tennessee. Georgia State (21-11) comes into the match riding a season-best eight match win streak. Bama owns a perfect 13-0 record versus the Lady Panthers including a 3-1 win last year at GSU.
In addition to the match, the UA volleyball team along with the Student-Athlete Advisory Board will be hosting the 3rd Annual Halloween Extravaganza. Tide student-athletes will be on hand to pass out candy and following game two of the volleyball match there will be a costume contest for kids ages 5-10.
Other highlights for the match include free food for the first 150 fans in attendance and the first 100 spectators will also receive a free Alabama Crimson Tide License Plate frame. Admission to all UA volleyball events is free and all matches are played in the CAVE, at the back of Coleman Coliseum.
