Tuscaloosa Tip off Club to Hold Preseason Cookout

TUSCALOOSA - The Tuscaloosa Tip-Off Club will hold its annual pre-season cookout featuring the University of Alabama men's basketball team on November 5 at Coleman Coliseum.
Members and fans can purchase tickets to the barbeque by calling Sarah House at 345-5860. Those attending the event will be allowed to watch Alabama's basketball practice that afternoon beginning at 3 p.m. Dinner, cooked by Outback Steakhouse, will be served at 5 p.m. The annual event includes an introduction of his team by Tide head coach Mark Gottfried. Gottfried also talks to the crowd about Alabama's upcoming season.
The Tuscaloosa Tip-Off Club is holding open enrollment at this time. To join the organization, call Jimmy Warren at 345-7363. In addition to being a support group for the Tide men's basketball team, membership comes with special privileges, such as the opportunity to purchase a reserved parking pass and, with the upper levels of membership, attend special luncheon meetings with Alabama's basketball staff at Outback Steakhouse.
