- Graduated with his undergraduate degree in communications in only three years, becoming the first male in his family to earn a college degree
- Consistently contributed to the Crimson Tide’s volunteer efforts from the time he stepped foot on campus
- A two-time permanent team captain (2021, 2022) as voted on by his teammates
- Earned unanimous All-America honors in both 2021 and 2022 to become the first Alabama player ever selected as a unanimous All-American twice during his career
- Won the Bednarik Award and Nagurski Trophy as the nation’s top defender in 2022
- Also claimed the Lott Trophy and Lombardi Award as a junior, each of which recognizes the nation’s most well-rounded student-athlete, incorporating academics, volunteer efforts and leadership
- Became just the second player in NCAA history to sweep all four awards
