David Pickett is entering his first season as an assistant coach with the Alabama track and field program, aiding Blaine Wiley with the sprints, hurdles and relay contingent.
At Columbia
- Pickett's success with the sprints and relays group:
- 16 Ivy League medals won
- 24 all-time top-10 performances in program history
- Mentored a student-athlete to a personal-best 46.42 in the 400m en route to All-Ivy honors
- Led an all-freshman women's 4x100-meter relay team to a program-best third-place finish at the conference meet
At Colgate
- Pickett's success with the sprints and hurdles group:
