Finished 10th in the javelin at the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on June 7 with a throw of 227-8 (69.41m), the ninth-best throw in school history ... also had a throw of 226-5 (69.03m) in the competition that ranks No. 10 all-time at Alabama ... finished seventh in the javelin at the NCAA East Regional on May 25 with throw of 219-10 (67.02m) to to qualify for the NCAA Track & Field Championships ... finished third in the javelin at the SEC Championships on May 11 with a throw of 243-10 (74.32m), the sixth-best throw in school history ... also recorded the seventh-beset mark in UA history at the SECs with a toss of 241-1 (73.49m) ... the third-place finish is the best for Alabama in the event at the SEC meet since 1997 ... competed in the javelin at the SEC Relays on April 29 but did not record a clean throw ... finished second in the javelin at the Jim Bush Collegiate on April 15 with a mark of 227-11 (69.47m), the sixth-best throw in school history ... opened the season with a fifth-place finish in the javelin at the Florida Relays on March 3 with a throw of 222-2 (67.72m) ... the mark is the sixth-best in school history ... also had a throw of 217-5 (66.27m) later in the competition that ranks ninth all-time at Alabama.
