Finished 13th in the 100 meters (10.81) and 12th in the 200 meters (21.81) at the Crimson Tide Invitational on April 8 ... also ran the second leg on the Alabama “B” 4x400-meter relay that finished eighth at the CTI in 3:25.45 ... finished 14th in the 400 meters at the Florida State Relays on March 24 in a personal best 50.52 ... opened the 2017 outdoor season with a seventh place finish in the 100 meters (10.87) and a fourth place finish in the 200 meters (21.74) at the Bulldog Relays on March 18.
2017 Indoor Season
Finished 25th in the 200 meters (22.15) and 40th in the 400 meters (50.91) at the Tiger Paw Invitational on Feb. 10-11 ... ran the third leg on the Tide’s 4x400-meter “B” relay that finished 11th at the Tiger Paw in 3:18.94 ... finished 13th in the 200 meters in a season-best 22.01 at the Bob Pollock Invitational on Jan. 27 ... also ran the second leg on the Tide's 4x400-meter relay "B" squad that finished ninth in 3:25.16 ... finished 11th in the 200 meters in a time of 22.10 and anchored the Tide 4x400 quartet that finished second in 3:17.96 at the Auburn Invitational posted a time of 7.09 in the prelims of the 60 meters at the Auburn meet but did not advance to the finals ... posted a 6.97 in the prelims of the 60 meters at the Commodore Invitational on Jan. 13. Also ran the third leg on the Tide’s “B” 4x400-meter relay squad that finished seventh in 3:18.16.
2016 Outdoor Season
Crossed the 100 meter finish line in 11.03 to finish 18th at the Battle on the Bayou … ran the 200 meters in 23.00 to finish 20th at the FSU Relays.
Clocked a time of 6.84 in the 60-meter prelims at the SEC Championships, claiming the 18th-best time in the event … registered a 60-meter preliminary time of 6.91 and finished second in the open 200 meters with a time of 21.13 at the Tyson Invitational … competed in the 60-meter preliminaries at the New Mexico Classic, crossing the finish in a time of 6.95 and finished 15th in the 200 meters in a time of 21.72 … ran 6.92 to finish third in the 60-meter finals at the Indiana Relays after running 6.86 in the event preliminaries … crossed the 60-meter preliminary finish line in a time of 6.89 followed by a 200-meter preliminary time of 21.91 at the Conference Clash … ran 6.89 to finish sixth in the 60-meter finals after clocking a time of 6.88 in the preliminaries of the event at the Commodore Indoor Invitational.
A three-time AHSAA state champion, winning the 100 meters in both Class 3A and 4A along with the Class 3A 200 meters at the 2015 outdoor state meet … recorded a time of 21.26 in the 200 meters, setting a new state record en route to claiming the state crown … also finished eighth in the long jump at the 2015 state meet … did not start competing in track & field until the age of 16 … also a member of the Hillcrest-Evergreen boys basketball team … is the son of Donald and Mary Likely … born Jan. 12, 1997.
