Tim Duckworth is entering his third season as an assistant coach with the Alabama track and field program, overseeing pole vault and the multi events for the Crimson Tide.
Duckworth's Time at Alabama
- Through two seasons, Duckworth has guided his group to the following accolades:
- One first team All-American
- One SEC silver medalist
- One All-SEC selection
- Two current UA school records
- Notable Crimson Tide student-athletes coached by Duckworth:
- Katelyn Adel - captured first team All-America honors as a freshman in her NCAA Outdoor Championships debut, accumulating a school-record 5,834-point total in the women's heptathlon. Earlier in the 2025 outdoor season, Adel also garnered silver at the SEC Championships.
- Louis Martinez - broke Alabama's school record in men's pole vault via a 5.40-meter mark (17-8.50) at the 2024 New Mexico Collegiate Classic. In one season under Duckworth's guidance, Martinez upped his PR from 5.20m to 5.40m.
At Washington

- Notable Washington student-athletes coached by Duckworth:
- Ida Eikeng - a three-time All-American while competing for the Huskies, securing back-to-back top-five national finishes in 2021 (fifth) and 2022 (national runner-up) in the heptathlon. During the 2023 indoor season, Eikeng added an eighth-place finish to her haul, this time in the pentathlon. Eikeng concluded her UW career with a 6,114-point total in the heptathlon and a 4,266 point-total in the pentathlon.
- Bruno Comin - earned All-America honors during the 2023 indoor season in the heptathlon and holds the Washington school record of 6,061 points in the pentathlon.
- Ollie Thorner - won the 2023 Pac-12 decathlon title behind a personal-best 7,761-point accumulation, becoming the first Husky to win the conference title since 2011. Thorner concluded his UW career as a two-time All-American.Â
