Ashleigh Beaver joined the Alabama women's basketball program on May 3, 2021 after serving five years as the head sports performance coach for Duke women's basketball.
Coach Ashleigh's main responsibilities at Duke were to implement and oversee all avenues of athletic development including, but not limited to, strength development, change of speed and direction, biomechanical assessment, individualized programming and maximal recovery designed for each athlete.
Prior to her time at Duke, she served a three-year stint at Army West Point as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Before that, she held an internship at Duke in 2013 working with Olympic sports and at Dayton in 2010 working with men's and women's basketball.
Coach Ashleigh graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree and in 2012 with a Master's in Sports Medicine. She is currently certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She also obtained her ISSA Sports Nutrition Certification in 2019.
