Mallori Crockett is entering her sixth season as athletic trainer for the women's basketball team. She also oversees the graduate assistant athletic trainer working with volleyball.
Prior to a student-athlete beginning workouts at The Capstone, Crockett assists in getting immunizations, medical records on any previous and current health issues and injuries, insurance information, and sets up physicals and cardiologist appointments. While a student-athlete is part of the team, she is responsible for anything from injury prevention and rehabilitation after injuries to making doctor's appointments for sickness and illness and taking care of all health needs away from home.
Crockett returned to her alma mater in June of 2013 after spending two years at North Carolina State. While with the Wolfpack, she worked primarily with volleyball, rifle and cheerleading and oversaw gymnastics. Crockett began her professional career at North Carolina A&T in 2009, spending two seasons in Greensboro. She spent most of her time with the Aggies' football and baseball programs and also assisted with cheerleading, tennis, swimming and track and field.
Crockett earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from The University of Alabama. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training in 2009 and completed her Master of Arts in health promotion and health education with an athletic training emphasis in 2011.
