Robert Mosley joined the Alabama coaching staff in May of 2010 after seven successful seasons as head coach of the Ramsay High School Girls Basketball Team in Birmingham, Ala. Throughout his tenure, Mosley guided the Rams to an overall record of 187-48 and coached more than 20 players that went on to have collegiate careers.
Ramsay was extremely successful under Mosley winning four consecutive Class 5A State Championships from 2004-2007. In addition, the Rams made five Class 5A Final Four appearances and claimed five Birmingham City School Tournament Championships. For his efforts, Mosley has acquired several coaching accolades including Class 5A Coach of the Year (2004-2007), Tipoff Club Girls Coach of the Year (2004, 2006), Birmingham News Coach of the Year (2004-2006) and Birmingham Post Herald Girls Metro Coach of the Year (2004-2006). Mosley was also named Coach of the Year by the National Federation of High School Coaches Association in 2006.
Off the court, Mosley has been equally as active serving as a lecturer at various conferences and coaching clinics and was a member of the selection committee for the Women[apos]s Basketball Coaches Association High School All-America Game.
Mosley earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Miles College in 1999 with a major in social science education. He also acquired an Associate of Science degree in 1995 from Bishop State Community College.
