Coleman Coliseum
At the center of Alabama Athletics activity, Coleman Coliseum stands strong. Also known as the plaid palace, it is home to Alabama Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Gymnastics. This historic venue was built in 1968. The Coliseum also features an auxiliary training facility that houses two full-size courts at the team's disposal for practices and individual workouts. The facility also includes state-of-the-art video, training, weight and equipment rooms.
Club Room
This open-air space creates an inviting environment with plenty of natural light coming through the windows on one side while it overlooks the competition floor of Coleman Coliseum on the other.
C.M. Newton Room
Formerly known as the recruiting room, this open space holds murals, trophies, and memorabilia that celebrate Alabama's past athletic success. With a small kitchenette, this room is great for catered events.
Main Floor
The main arena of Coleman Coliseum holds an astounding 15,383. This historic venue is used for men’s and women’s basketball as well as gymnastics. The main arena is equipped with a high-quality sound system and a four-sided state-of-the-art videoboard which hangs over center court. The main floor of Coleman Coliseum can be covered to host banquets, presentations, and galas.
Concourse
Coleman Coliseum has a full 360-degree concourse lined with columns sporting historic moments, players, and coaches for Alabama Men's and Women's Basketball as well as Gymnastics. The North Lobby is the most spacious area of the concourse. Perfect for hosting mid-sized dinners and banquets.
