Event Security

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and secure environment for guests, VIP's, team personnel, working staff, and other individuals associated with the event
- Know and understand your post orders and chain of command. Essential functions may vary depending on specific post assignment, including metal detector operator, bag checks, field-level security and other positions as assigned
- Warmly greet guests as they enter your work area while continuously maintaining the standards of excellence for safety, security, and professionalism. Customer Service is Every Employee's Job!
- Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures, and regulations; respond immediately to emergency situations or calls for help, determine course of action, notify appropriate authorities, and assist as needed
- These functions are not limited to these listed and may be expanded upon at any time by event and security management personnel
Requirements / Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/or equivalent (GED) and be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screening where required; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation
- Strong customer service orientation, exemplifying our Mission Statement that Customer Service is Every Employee's Job
- Ability to facilitate progressive change, get along with other employees, follow directions and continually improve
- Clear and effective oral and written communications skills
- Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or other customers
- Pushing/pulling/carrying lifting may include up to 25 lbs (event evacuation), and stair climbing. Ability to sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties within the facility. Must be capable of standing for long periods of time.
