The Alabama Girls Elite Golf Camp is a one-day camp conducted by Mic Potter, head women's golf coach at The University of Alabama! All instruction takes place at the Jerry Pate Golf Center, the practice facility for the Crimson Tide golf teams, and Ol' Colony Golf Complex.
Eligibility
Open to girls currently in Grades 8th-11th. The number of available spots is limited! All camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by grade in school, number of participants, and gender.
Mission Statement
The Alabama Girls Elite Golf Camp is designed to give elite female golfers the unique opportunity to have on-course instruction from the Alabama Women's Golf coaching staff. This camp is designed for those who have tournament experience and are looking to elevate their game in ways beyond swing instruction.

- Camp will start and finish at the Jerry Pate Golf Center located at
Ol' Colony Golf Complex
401 Old Colony Road
Tuscaloosa, AL 35487 - Cost of the camp includes the following
- 9 holes of play at Ol' Colony Golf Complex with camp counselors while Staff Instructors observe play. Instructors will discuss options for play in different situations and on-course management tactics throughout the 9 holes.
- Lunch in the Athletic Dining Hall and the opportunity to hear from a staff Nutritionist regarding nutritional needs specific to elite-level golfers.
- Learn from a staff Strength and Conditioning Coach in the Mal Moore Weight Room about the latest trends and research regarding training for golfers.
- Alabama hat
- Participants need to have their own clubs.
Tentative Itinerary
7:30 a.m. Check-In at the Jerry Pate Golf Center
7:40 a.m. Introductions of Staff and Counselors
7:45-8:20 a.m. Warm-Up on Range at the Golf Center
8:20 a.m. Depart for the Ol' Colony Clubhouse
8:30-9:00 a.m. Warm-Up Putting at the Ol' Colony Golf Complex Practice Green
9:00-11:45 a.m. Play 9 Holes at Ol' Colony
12:15 p.m. Depart for Campus
12:30 p.m. Meet with Alabama Staff Nutritionist in the Athletic Dining Hall
12:45-1:15 p.m. Lunch at the Athletic Dining Hall
1:30-2:00 p.m. Meet with Alabama Staff Strength and Conditioning Coach
2:00 p.m. Return to Golf Center
2:15-3:30 p.m. Review the Play with Each Participant
3:30 p.m. Camp Ends
