2017 Indoor Season
Finished ninth in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on March 10 with a mark of 62- 3 3/4 (18.99m), the fourth-best mark in school history ... now holds four of the top-10 indoor shot put marks in UA history ... finished fourth in the shot put at the SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 25 with a mark of 50-10 3/4 (18.56m) ... won his fifth shot put competition in as many outings at the Tiger Paw Invitational on Feb. 11 with a winning mark of 60-10 1/2 (18.55m) ... won the shot put with an effort of 60-8 3/4 (18.51) at the Bayou Bengal Invitational on Feb. 3 .. led a Crimson Tide sweep of the top four spots with a mark of 61-1 1/4 (18.62m) at the Bob Pollock Invitational on Jan. 28 ... the sweep was the second in a row for the Tide shot putters... posted his second consecutive shot put victory of the season at the Auburn Invitational, winning the event with a mark of 59-10 1/4 (18.24m) to lead a Tide sweep of the top four places ... won the shot put at the season-opening Commodore Invitational with a mark of 62-1 1/4 (18.93m) as Alabama claimed four of the top six spots in the event ... the effort is the fourth-best indoor mark in Crimson Tide history and gives him eight of the top-10 marks all-time at Alabama.
2016 Outdoor Season
Registered a mark of 60-8 ¾ (18.51m) in the shot put to finish 21st at the NCAA Championships … finished sixth in the shot put at the NCAA East Regional with a throw of 61-7 ¾ (18.79m) … threw 61-5 (18.72m) in the shot put to finish fifth and threw 165-5 (50.43m) in the discus to finish 12th at the SEC Championships … finished fourth in the shot put with a mark of 58-10 1/4 (17.94m) at the LSU Invitational … won the shot put at the War Eagle Invitational with a throw of 61-3 (18.67m) … registered a heave of 60-5 3/4 (18.43m) in the shot put to finish fourth in the event at the Battle on the Bayou … finished third in the invitational portion of the shot put with a best mark of 61-0 3/4 (18.61m) at the Florida Relays … threw 60-8 (18.49m) to finish second in the shot put at the FSU Relays … won the Alabama Relays shot put with a toss of 60-11 1/4 (18.57m).
Finished third in the shot put at the SEC Championships with a toss of 61-0 1/4 (18.60m) … won the shot put at the LSU High Performance Meet with a toss of 61-2 3/4 (18.66m) … recorded a toss of 57-6 1/2 (17.54m) in the shot put to finish ninth at the Conference Clash … threw 60-2 1/2 (18.35) in the shot put to claim a runner-up finish at the Commodore Invitational.
2015 Outdoor Season
Won the LSU Invitational shot put with a throw of 59-7 (18.16m) and javelin with a mark of 210-5 (64.13m) … posted a best mark of 58-11 1/4 (17.96m) to finish as the runner-up in the shot put at the John Jacobs Invitational ... outclassed a field of 11 competitors in the shot put to win with a best throw of 59 feet, 3/4 of an inch (18.00m) at the Border Clash, while also throwing 192-5 (58.64m) in the Javelin ... threw 55-10 1/2 (17.03m) in the shot put a the Pepsi Florida Relays to finish 13th ... finished as the runner-up in the Crimson Tide Invitational shot put with a best mark of 58-7 1/2 (17.87m) ... won the Alabama Relays shot put with a toss of 59-0 1/4 (17.99m).
