Lemngole Repeats as CSC Team Member of the Year, Earns Academic All-America Honors

Doris Lemngole swept first-team honors along with Team Member of the Year for second straight season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Junior track and field standout Doris Lemngole was named the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Track and Field Academic All-America Team Member of the Year for the second consecutive season, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
In addition to being named Team Member of the Year, Lemngole was also selected as a CSC First Team Academic All-American for the second season in a row and was one of eight repeat selections named to the First Team. Lemngole maintained a 4.00 GPA, studying sport management.
The CSC Men's Track and Field Academic All-America list will be announced at a later date.
Doris Lemngole, CSC Women's Track Academic All-American, Team Member of the Year
- Named the 2026 SEC Outdoor Track and Field Runner of the Year and two-time USTFCCCA Women's Cross Country National Scholar-Athlete of the Year honoree (2024, 2025)
- Winner of the 2026 SEC Commissioner's Trophy, accumulating 20 individual points at the league's Outdoor Championships
- First student-athlete in SEC history to win the steeplechase for three consecutive seasons
- Recorded a then-world-leading 9:18.66 in the steeplechase during the outdoor season
- Swept the steeplechase and the 5,000-meter SEC titles for the second consecutive year
- A five-time national champion in her career who won three individual championships during her sophomore season (cross country, indoor 5,000 meters and outdoor steeplechase)
- A three-time member on both the Dean's List and President's List
- Swept all three SEC Scholar-Athlete awards during the 2024-25 athletics season (cross country, indoor track, outdoor track)
- A three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member and USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree
