The 2025 four-star recruit will join the Crimson Tide for her sophomore season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama head coach Pauline Love announced the addition of Amirah Anderson to the women's basketball program on Thursday.
The Crimson Tide will welcome the Stafford, Va., native to the upcoming 2026-27 squad after she spent her freshman campaign at Boston College.

- Made 20 starts for Boston College, averaging 7.9 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game
- Shot 54-of-68 (79 percent) from the free throw line, the third highest on the team
- Collected a career-high 18 points against Harvard (11/19) after shooting 7-of-11 (64 percent) from the field
- Grabbed a team-high nine rebounds against Holy Cross (11/03)
- Prior to BC, she was ranked a four-star recruit and No. 76 in the 2025 recruiting class by ESPN
- In high school, she reached the 1,000 point and 500 rebound milestone her senior season at Bishop Ireton
- Helped her team capture back-to-back VISAA State titles (2024, 25)
- Aided Bishop Ireton to its first WCAC Championship game appearance before capturing the Throne National title
- Three-Time All-VISAA selection, highlighted by two straight seasons on the All-First Team
- Played two seasons with Team Takeover in the EYBL (2022-24)
- Guided her team to a third-place finish at the 2024 EYBL National Tournament
- Daughter of Mary and Mayo Wilson and Clarence Anderson
