Alabama Alum Enzo Aguiard Wins M25 Burnie

The tournament victory is the first pro win for the 2025 UA graduate
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama alum Enzo Aguiard recorded his first professional tournament win as he captured the title at the M25 Burnie over the weekend.
Aguiard fought his way through five rounds of competition to claim the title. His journey to the championship included three straight-set wins as he defeated Yu Hsiou HSU, Keisuke Saitoh and Li Tu in the round of 16, quarterfinals and finals, respectively. He downed Ty Host in the Round of 32 and Moerani Bouzige in the semifinals in three sets.

“It means a lot to win this tournament. I’ve been playing well, getting lots of matches in early in the year. It’s nice to see what I’ve been setting out to do in practice come to fruition on the match court, helping me progress my game and get this title.”
