The Crimson Tide was paced by a doubles victory from Andrii Zimnokh and Rohan Hazratwala
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Alabama men's tennis team (3-5) fell to Memphis (5-1) on Friday in a 4-0 road decision.
Andrii Zimnokh and Rohan Hazratwala secured a doubles win for the Tide, while Zimnokh, Matic Kriznik and Vit Kalina were leading their singles matches when the contest was decided.
Match Notes
- Zimnokh and Hazratwala captured their first win as a doubles duo
- The pair dropped just three games on their way to victory at the No. 2 spot
- In singles action, Zimnokh, Kriznik and Kalina all won their opening set on courts one, two and three
- Kalina was just one game shy of clinching the win on court three 7-6(2), 5-1, when the match was decided
